Gordon Kuba

Gordon Kuba is a versatile drummer in the New York City/New Jersey area with over 15 years of performing and teaching experience. Influenced heavily by his aunt, who was his music teacher throughout middle school, and his grandfather Dick Richards, the original drummer of Bill Haley and his Comets, Gordon fostered a love and understanding for music at an early age. He started performing with various cover bands before receiving his bachelor's degree at Montclair State University for Jazz Drumming. Gordon has delved deep into the world of jazz, performing with Dave Stryker, Hal Galper, Charlie Apicella, Yvonnik Prené, and many others at venues such as DROM, Midnight Blue, Arthur's Tavern, and Shanghai Jazz. He is also experienced in rock, pop, funk, country, and hip-hop drumming, having toured the county on multiple occasions and recorded at major studios such as Blackbird Studios in Nashville and Sound on Sound Studios in Montclair, New Jersey. l  Gordon is currently working on an album with legendary songwriter Sandy Linzer.
